The total investment in Atalanta is almost half a billion euros, 150 million euros of which will be spent on the new experiential park. The investment in the city centre amounts to 320 million euros, 260 million of which are allocated for public investments in infrastructure, amenities and area development. These investment amounts are quoted at 2008 price levels and exclude financing costs and VAT.

The municipality is investing 110 million euros, and the province is contributing 70 million euros. It is assumed that the central government will contribute another 10 million euros as part of a regionally specific package. Attempts will also be made to acquire EU and other central government funding.
